As a criminal attorney specializing in death-penalty defense work, Chandler resident Toby Schmich has her days full.

But even with a full docket, every month she joins other professionals at Ahwatukee's My Wine Cellar for its book club, known tongue-in-cheek as the Winoholic Bookworms.

Started in August 2010 by My Wine Cellar bar manager Katie Hallan, the book club grew out of her own love of literature.
